Chill and gaming zones. Unnecessary cost or investment in employees?

Nobody can work with full concentration for eight hours without a real break. This is especially true in sectors such as technology, finance, trading, forex or consulting. For candidates, this can make a real difference. Two companies may offer a similar salary and similar responsibilities. But if one office feels cold and purely functional, while the other offers a beautiful lounge, a gaming area, good coffee, flexible spaces and a more relaxed atmosphere, the second one may feel much more attractive.

This does not mean every office needs expensive entertainment equipment. The point is not to impress people with gadgets. The point is to create a workplace where employees feel comfortable, noticed and motivated. Sometimes one well-designed room can change the way people feel about the whole office.
